I consider myself a teacher

Sometimes people ask me why I became a professor. There are many reasons. My favourite answer is, “because I am a teacher”. The classroom or the seminar room is my element. Given the feedback from my students, it seems to be working out pretty well.

The Business School at Furtwangen University HFU, in the beautiful Black Forest is my home base. I have been teaching human resource management, organizational behaviour, social psychology, and social research methods since 2005.

I am particularly proud of “my” degree program Business Management and Psychology, which I created with my colleagues and lead as Dean of Studies. I also run our Executive MBA, a wonderful program for professionals who want more.
