Some of these theories may hold water, while others are widely held myths.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Not all employees who resign are running away.<\/li>\n<li>Some employees quit because of their bosses, but many stay because of them.<\/li>\n<li>Employees are not customers of their employers; they are active participants.<\/li>\n<li>The employer is not always to blame.<\/li>\n<li>You don&#8217;t need to create a paradise to retain employees.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This lecture takes a clarifying look at the subject of employee retention.
